Rags's Delicacy

1~ PANCAKES (EASY HOMEMADE RECIPE)

A pancake is always considered a breakfast meal. It is a cake, often flat, thin and round. A pancake is an emotion one could have. It is a mood maker, a delicacy for brunch and lunner (a meal eaten between lunchtime and dinnertime). It may not have six-packs like a waffle (😝) but, its fluffiness is something to try out.
So, here is an easy recipe to make this amazing delicacy.

Ingredients:
1 egg
2 tbsp. of sugar
3/4 cup of milk
1 cup of all- purpose flour
3/4 tsp of baking powder
1/4 tsp of salt
2 tbsp. of cooking oil
Banana (or any other fruits for serving)
butter and maple syrup for garnishing

Procedure:
        πŸ₯ž~Making of the batter
  • Break 1 egg to the bowl and check for the shells.
  • Add 2 Tbsp. of sugar.
  • Whisk the content until the egg gets frothy.
  • Add 3/4 cup of milk.
  • Whisk again.
  • Sieve the 1 cup of all- purpose flour, 3/4 Tsp. of baking powder and 1/4 Tsp. of salt in the same bowl.
  • Whisk all the ingredients well until it turns to be a thick liquidy batter.
  • Add 2 Tbsp. of cooking oil
  • Whisk it again properly.
        πŸ₯ž~ Cooking of the PANCAKES
  • Heat a non-stick pan
  • Pour about 3/4 ladle of the batter onto the pan
  • When the edges look dry and the bubbles starts to appear. Turn over the pancake.
  • Cook until lightly brown.
  • Repeat the same steps with the remaining batter.
πŸ₯žServe with butter and maple syrup (but, if not maple syrup use honey). And enjoy your delicacy.πŸ₯ž

A tale of random scribbles~ I won't be silenced anymore...

That starry night, all the siblings decided to play hide and seek. The older one asked the youngest to pair to him and she politely replied, "okay." She was 6 years at that time, not familiar with the real world. Everything was fine until the older brother asked the younger sister to come and hide with him in that dark ventilated room. She agreed, knowing it's alright to trust the brother who was about to change into something hideous in no time. He approached that little girl, and to her surprise, he asked her to undress. The little girl got all shocked and tried to shout but, that monstrous brother "shushed" her by placing his finger on her tiny mouth. He pushed that little soul onto that thick loaf of a dusty mattress, she was unable to move as the hideous monster held her tiny hands. She was breathless, she was tired of pleading and screaming. She was losing all her hopes, she closed her eyes remembering her parents and her sister and all their good mom...

#2 RagsNOOK

That night when my father bid goodbye to that man, we all sat together in the tiny room on the cold- cracked floor. He started to whip his face with his sleeve and looked towards me with guilt as if, he was asking me to forgive him. I already knew something was not going right after the man left. We all kept quiet for a moment. Seeing that, my mother burst out with anger and asked my father why he did that, I was not able to understand what was going on so, I politely asked my father, "Baba, who was that man, and why he gave us a briefcase?" My father, he sighed and said, "I'm sorry my dear, I'm. You don't have to forgive me but, this for our own good." I got all confused and asked him again, "What is the matter?" He shook his head and both anger and disgust took all over him,"I sold you to that man." He told me that in one breath. I was confused. I slid a little away from my father. After hearing that so many questions started t...
